Significant Appointments Announced at Azets

Following a period of growth, Azets, the UK’s largest regional accountancy firm and business advisor to SMEs, has announced a number of appointments in the Shires tax team.

With over 20 years of private client tax experience, Vanessa Clark joins our office as Private Client Director. As a Certified Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor, Vanessa’s specialisms include inheritance tax planning, trusts, capital gains advice and in particular tax advice for non-resident and non-domiciled individuals. Vanessa will be working with a wide range of clients across the South West region.

Joining from a Big Four firm, Tom Westcott, has been appointed as Corporate Tax Assistant Manager. As an experienced corporate tax specialist, Tom will be working with businesses ranging from Owner Managed Businesses to international groups in his new role. 

After successfully progressing through Azets national graduate recruitment scheme, Liam Carvalho and Mitchell Pettifor have joined the firm as Graduate Tax Assistants. Their roles will expose them to a wide range of individual and business taxes, as they complete the prestigious ATT/CTA joint pathway on their way to becoming the chartered tax advisers of the future.
