As a tax specialist, Simon offers a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all areas of taxation. He has spent his whole career working in tax advice for owner managed businesses, and the people who run those businesses from a diverse range of sectors.
He is well-versed in the complexities of company reconstructions (including demergers, amalgamations of businesses and structuring of acquisitions), group tax planning, managing exits from businesses, and strategic personal tax planning.
Simon is also very experienced in providing expert transactional support and can provide advice around business acquisitions, business sales, property purchase and development and many other types of transaction. He has also undertaken a significant amount of Tax Dispute resolution work in his many years in practice and is unafraid to challenge HMRC in order to get the very best outcomes for clients.
