Melanie is an experienced Corporate Tax Partner, based in the Hertford office and is Head of Tax for Azets’ South region.
After completing her degree in Business Economics with Accounting at the University of Southampton, Melanie began her accounting career at PwC, before moving to BDO to focus on working with SMEs. Following a period spent in industry as a Management Accountant, Melanie joined the tax department at Baker Tilly (now RSM), where she stayed for 11 years – being made Partner in 2008. Since then she has held Tax Partner roles at Mazars and HW Fisher and was Managing Director at tax consultancy, Markel Tax.
As a tax specialist with many years of experience advising family and owner-managed businesses, Melanie works closely with her clients to understand their risks and minimise their tax exposure. She’s passionate about combining her tax knowledge and experience in working with businesses to help business owners achieve their goals.
