Martin is the Head of Technology Risk for Azets and joined from Mazars in July 2022. He was part of the Technology & Digital team at Mazars for 5 ½ years and was Technology Risk service line lead nationally (Internal IT Audit, External IT Audit and 3rd Party Assurance services) across all sectors. During his time with Mazars, he provided Technology Risk based assurance services to Financial Services, Corporates and Public Sectors.
Prior to that he worked for KPMG for 8 ½ years focusing on Technology Risk across sectors. Prior to KPMG, he worked for the Audit Commission (which was the government appointed external auditors of local government and health organisations in England), Newcastle Building Society where he specialised in Internal IT Audit and Risk Management, Corus Steel specialising in Internal IT Audit and ISO27001 and also PwC during his early career.
