Margaret spent many years in banking, involved in a wide range of operations including credit management, treasury, business development and property finance – challenging as fashions and markets came and went. Having lived the dynamic relationship between borrower and lender she has built up genuine commercial experience which she now uses to help navigate difficult times when businesses are struggling.
Margaret moved into the Restructuring & Insolvency profession to take on a new challenge which would also make the most of those earlier years. She qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2016 and has been taking appointments since 2017, moving to Azets in 2019 to join an expanding team.
Since then the Azets business based in the Midlands has expanded in a variety of advisory areas and Margaret has been leading a team as to continue R&I growth alongside Corporate Finance, Forensics, Transaction Services to cover the whole spectrum of corporate health. She sees it as a terrific collegiate opportunity to help clients, especially as economic conditions continue to be turbulent
