Kate is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with over 17 years' expertise in the valuation of private company shareholdings, litigation support and forensic accounting, working with a variety of clients across multiple industries.
Kate is regularly appointed as expert witness, ‘shadow’ expert and independent advisor to clients, providing written reports and oral testimony in cases settled by mediation, expert determination and trial. She has developed a wide variety of forensic accounting skills and worked on a broad range of forensic assignments including private company valuations, loss of profits analysis, loss of earnings/ dependency, financial statements analysis, bank statements analysis, liquidity analysis, investigations into accounting and financial irregularities and forensic audits.
Kate has also spent periods on secondment in industry; firstly managing the process of collating and analysing information using forensic technology processes, and, secondly, at a large Financial Institution assisting their Financial Crime team, primarily with implementing enhanced Anti-Money Laundering processes.
Her clients include individuals, owner-managed businesses, SMEs, large corporates, Private Equity houses and Non-Governmental Organisations.
