Gurj is the National Head of Capital Allowances. This is a specialist area of tax, which focuses on maximising UK tax reliefs for capital related property projects.
Gurj advises across a broad range of clients and sectors, including but not limited to property investors & developers, leisure & hospitality, manufacturing and private healthcare businesses.
His experience includes discussions with HMRC to agree capital allowances claims, as well as specialist consultancy reviews of internal capital allowances systems and processes.
Prior to joining Azets, Gurj qualified at a Big 4 firm and later moved on to establish the capital allowances team for a mid-tier practice across the Central region. He is dual qualified chartered surveyor (RICS) and chartered accountant (ICAEW).
