Christian qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant back in 1999 originally with Garbutt+Elliott having spent 4 years at Ernst & Young working in the owner managed businesses team. After qualifying, Christian joined the corporate advisory department providing business advisory services to a range of clients before moving into industry in July 2001.
Working in a variety of senior finance roles, with over 15 years in industry, Christian has gained a detailed understanding of the challenges that fast moving and high growth businesses faces providing commercial input and strategic support; implementing strong financial management reporting; leading and managing the development of finance and support teams globally. In 2018 re-joining Garbutt+Elliott which later became Azets, Christian has hands on experience understanding the issues facing owner-managed businesses. Outside of work he is an avid and competitive sportsman.
