Annette is our newly appointed Private Client Tax Partner. She began her early career as a trainee for a Canary Wharf based firm, initially dealing with Lloyds underwriters amongst her client portfolio, and high net worth individuals before joining EY where she joined the private client advisory team and became more involved in Trusts and Estates as part of her client base.
Annette came to Azets having specialised over the years in Inheritance Tax Planning Trusts and Estates and is a fully qualified STEP member. In addition, as a Private Client Tax Partner she has developed a wealth of knowledge in advising OMB's, Directors, Partnerships and Individuals on income tax, succession planning, capital gains tax, to advising landowners in the farming sector and landlords and high net worth individuals.
Annette has taken great pride in serving clients in their family businesses and to help protect their wealth over the years and sees her role as helping private individuals through all major life events which involve Tax advice as a trusted advisor. She has also established strong relationships with other professionals across the region in delivering joined up advice to private clients.
Annette is delighted to be heading up private client services across the Westcountry region as this enables her and the team to have a presence in all the Westcountry Azets offices in Devon and Cornwall, working together as a united team with their colleagues to deliver the best all-round tax and accounts advisory services to our clients.
In her leisure time Annette belongs to Plymouth Rock Choir and loves to get involved in Performing Arts. She also is actively engaged with a local Plymouth based charity that works hard to champion campaigns that benefit the youth, elderly and vulnerable within our local community.
