I have over 15 years’ experience working in tax and have worked across a wide range of clients from one person operated businesses to large international groups. I have also worked with clients across a range of sectors from not for profit, to construction through to retailers. As a result, I have a unique perspective on problem solving for clients and I enjoy trying to solve complex tax issues in an easy to understand and commercial way. I have a particular interest in working with Owner Managed Businesses (OMBs) through their life cycle from start up to exit.
I have worked on a wide range of advisory projects including advising on the structuring of groups, financing arrangements, demergers (both share capital reduction and s110), group simplification, Management Buy Outs (MBOs) and purchase of own shares exercises.
Prior to joining Azets in October 2023, I was a director at a mid-tier Accountancy firm and before that I worked at BDO. I am dual qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA).
