After working with Azets for a few months, Northcoders took the decision to pursue an AIM flotation in March 2021. This presents significant additional challenges for a business on a number of fronts, not least in getting historic financial records converted to IFRS and market-ready.
The Technical Accounting Team at Azets took on a wide-ranging role to help convert results to IFRS, prepare all historical financial information for AIM, provide support throughout the audit process, and work on structuring the business in a market-ready way whilst also being tax efficient. Azets also worked on EMI option grants and advisory, as well as maintaining other compliance functions.
Northcoders successfully listed in July 2021 and Azets were a critical part of that process. The team continue to be heavily involved in the post-admission Plc reporting process as well as providing wider support to the group.
The team were fantastic throughout. No question was too simple. We very much felt that Azets were an extra member of the team and the were certainly an important part of the IPO project delivery. Azets continues to support the group following its appointment through ongoing Plc accounting and taxation support, as the group focuses on its growth ambitions to create a substantial network of Northcoders hubs across the UK.
