All of our trainee programmes (both graduate and school & college leavers) will have an associated qualification that you will need to complete. There are several different training programmes and pathways available. The qualification you undertake will depend on the role you apply to.

Below, we break down the length, level and requirements for each Professional Qualification.
Length: 1-3 years. This will depend upon which level you begin at.
Level: Level 2 to Level 4. Depending on your education level and background, our professional qualification team will identify the most suitable level for you to begin your training.
Length: 3-4 years
Level: Level 7 qualification available either commercially or via an apprenticeship. Please click here for more information about the qualification.
ACCA hold exam sessions each quarter and some of their exams can even be taken on-demand, giving you the flexibility to progress through your qualifications at your own pace. The ACCA qualification gives you the opportunity to specialise in a chosen area.
ICAS offer the CA (Chartered Accountancy) qualification and the brochure for this (Become a CA) can be seen here.
Through a mix of study, and the minimum 450 days of relevant practical experience gained with Azets, students gain technical expertise in finance and accounting, alongside broader business skills in management, analysis, communication, presentation and ethics.
Length: 1-3 years
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
The three most relevant qualifications are; ACA, and CFAB. ACA is the qualification to become an Associated Chartered Accountant. CFAB is Certificate in Finance, Accounting, and Business which is an introductory qualification.
ICAEW also have specialist qualifications in charity accounting (Diploma in Charity Accounting, DChA), corporate finance (CFq); Forensic accounting, Insolvency, Data Analytics etc.
Length: 1 year
By studying the CIMA Certificate, you’ll come away equipped with a solid understanding of fundamental accounting, management and business principles to kick-start your career in here at Azets. You’ll develop skills in financial reporting, forecasting, data analysis and more!
The Professional Qualification focuses on employability – bridging the skills gaps of newly qualified finance professionals worldwide, meeting the needs of both business and people.
Length: 3 Years
The Chartered Institute of Taxation also offer a variety of routes to CTA – Chartered Tax Adviser which includes ATT Foundation. Please click here to view the different pathways available, including direct and apprenticeship.
Length: 12-18 months to complete - the maximum time allowed is 3 years.
CIA is the global benchmark for professional career internal auditors, allowing you to perform any audit anywhere in the world.
