Rob joined the business in 2011 having previously been a the Big 4 accountancy firm.
Specialising in all areas of Taxation, specifically bridging the gap between corporate and personal taxes, Rob is particularly focused on entrepreneurs and developing tax strategies for businesses and their owners in order to improve tax efficiency.
He also has extensive experience with acquisitions and disposals, exit strategies and business restructuring using companies, partnerships and offshore trusts and planning for non-UK domiciles.
Rob has also spent time in industry as the Head of Tax of a large media group, dealing with its corporate tax affairs giving him insight into how it works from the client’s side.
His approach is to work with both the business and its owners to understand the commercial drivers and their objectives to allow him to advise on the tax issues and ensure both the business and the owners achieve maximum tax efficiency.
His close relationships with his clients mean he becomes a trusted advisor, acting as a partner and sounding board in the business to ensure decisions are made in a more informed manner.
