Various educational endowments in the County of West Lothian were brought together under the West Lothian Educational Trust Scheme 1957. Scottish Charity Number SC015454.
The Trust provides grants for various educational purposes for individuals and groups residing in West Lothian, Bo’ness, Queensferry and Kirkliston. Individuals must have lived in West Lothian, Bo’ness, Queensferry and Kirkliston for the last three years.
Funds available
After various prize monies and bursaries have been paid out, around £25,000 is available for distribution each year.
Applications
Applications should be sent in no later than 30 June or 31 December, for consideration at the next Trustee meeting.
Trustees meet twice a year to review applications and agree grants.
