Preston is home to Britain’s first motorway, the tallest spire in England, and the first football club to win the double, Preston North End. Textiles were produced in the area from the mid 13th century with a rapid period of growth occurring during the Industrial Revolution, but the city now hosts more than 5,000 businesses in many different sectors.
With a total of £434m currently being invested in the area due to a joint agreement between the Government and local councils as part of the Preston and Lancashire City Deal, the area is expected to further establish its’ position as a place of economic opportunity over the next few years. Our Preston office is situated a few miles outside Preston city centre and houses more than 20 staff and services private individuals and businesses across Lancashire and beyond.
I am extremely proud of the way the Preston team use their experience and knowledge to contribute to the success of our clients who are at the heart of everything we do. Our experienced team deal with clients in a personal and professional way, from the smallest of accounting queries to complex technical matters. We are lucky to be based in an expanding city where the local economy is expected to grow by £1 billion over the next ten years, affording us the opportunity to work with businesses of all shapes and sizes across all sectors.
I have found the advice Azets have given us over the years extremely helpful in guiding us through tax and accountancy matters. Julie has been so helpful in a knowledgeable way but with complete clarity.Geoff Toft, Director - BREC Ltd, Get in touch with the Preston office
