As part of your role as a Personal Tax Associate you will provide assistance with the preparation of Self Assessment and income expenditure statements for clients and also assist your colleagues with obtaining information for the completion of accounts and tax returns. As well as providing tax administration, you will also be communicating with HMRC and really gaining a full insight into the world of taxation.
As part of your role as a Corporate Tax Associate you will predominantly be working in our corporation tax compliance team and will provide assistance as needed on advisory projects. We would expect you to gain experience in dealing with all corporation tax compliance matters on a range of clients. As an integral and valued member of the team you will be expected to form and build long term relationships with new and existing clients to assist them in achieving their objectives.
As part of your role as a Capital Allowances Tax Associate you will support customers with making tax savings from their property expenditure. Capital allowances are a valuable tax relief for property expenditure and our team specialises in preparing claims to maximise the available reliefs. The role will include assisting with the preparation of capital allowances claims and undertaking surveys of client premises. Day to day you will be analysing property costs to determine the correct tax treatment, assisting with the preparation of reports for submission to clients and HMRC. You will work towards assisting with the preparation of client proposals and develop a detailed understanding of the capital allowances legislation and how that interacts with client’s broader tax position.
As part of your role as a Research & Development Tax Associate you will support clients to make tax savings following investment in new technologies designed to improve processes and services. This role will see you gathering the necessary information to make these relief claims and supporting clients to understand the implication of this.
