The role

An experienced person who is able to hit the ground running, you will have overall responsibility for coordinating the group treasury inbox ensuring work load is evenly distributed throughout this small team, you will be required to undertake the same tasks as the other treasury team members to ensure all requests and duties are complete both daily and within the month end cycle, you must be able to work well under pressure and within tight working month-end deadlines.

Key accountabilities

The role requires the participation and co-ordination of the treasury team in the following tasks:

  • Treasury inbox to ensure payment requests and queries are dealt with efficiently
  • Weekly bank rec for main Holdings bank account
  • Monthly bank recs all other bank accounts (Office & Client)
  • Daily data input - Posting payments / receipt accurately into accounting software
  • Monitor client bank accounts on a daily basis to ensure adherence to ICAEW regulations
  • Liaise with partners to clear client funds held asap
  • Running bank reports & updating daily cashflow reports
  • Organizing bank funds sweep (Monthly)
  • Support for user maintenance on bank platforms

Skills & experience

This role requires minimum qualification AAT technician, with 3 yrs experience in a finance background as well as:

  • Possess a financial aptitude and attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and within deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative & be self motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Accounting software
