We are currently looking for an experienced Audit Leader to join our growing Manchester audit practice. For this position, we are open to candidates already operating at Director / Partner level or currently a Senior Manager / Director working towards Director / Partner with the ambitions to step up now, or in the near future.

You will take the lead on dealing with a wide range of clients from various sectors, you will be providing audit compliance services and commercial advice to small and mid-sized entrepreneurial owner managed businesses, as well as larger private equity backed acquisitive groups .  The ability to act as a trusted business adviser is key. You will be driving profitable revenue growth across existing and new service offerings  demonstrating broad business thinking and sound commercial judgement in order to add value. You will work collaboratively to suggest and drive ideas and concepts for increased marketing opportunities with existing and potential new clients and have a full awareness of internal contacts services offered by departments across the firm, maximising cross selling opportunities.

Day to day you will be part of the office leadership team driving change, growth and providing motivational leadership within the office and amongst the wider regional team. In addition, you will oversee all aspects of your client engagements ensuring a robust, risk-averse audit services is delivered and that standards are maintained at the highest level.

The successful candidate will be able to analyse complex business situations to identify key audit and commercial issues as well as demonstrating an excellent working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP and ISAs. You will therefore be qualified in either ACA/ACCA and will possess senior level experience and the ability to manage a large portfolio of clients, whilst leading a team. Experience as a Responsible Individual (RI) as a Senior Statutory Auditor (or working towards this status) is essential.  You will be working within a leadership capacity already and will be looking for an opportunity to build on your career within a firm which will offer you the autonomy to grow the practice, develop the skills of our people and to make a difference for our clients.
