As an HR Consultant in our externally facing HR Consultancy team you will provide an up-to-date, legally compliant and generally excellent HR service to our clients on a day-to-day basis. You will advise on people strategies, help set HR up as a function, design processes and procedures and implement them. You will deal with disciplinaries, grievances, probation and performance issues, either hands on or from afar as required. You will advise on statutory rights and payments, mergers & acquisitions, sickness, redundancies, and other exit strategies. We cover all aspects of the employee lifecycle from beginning to end!

You will help reduce the ‘worry factor’ and provide sensible, practical advice and pragmatic solutions based on each individual situation. You will be involved in drafting contracts, producing policies and handbooks, assisting with presentations, development programmes and also writing and delivering soft skills training. You will be involved in business development, helping to grow and marketing the HR Consultancy service to existing and new clients.

The ideal candidate will be currently studying or qualified to at least Level 5 CIPD. You will have proven experience working in a busy generalist HR environment with knowledge of the intricacies of HR and the impact that HR has on a business. You may also have been an HR Consultant assisting a variety of clients with their HR needs. Either way you will have a pro-active approach with an ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Sound interesting?
