As a Senior Talent Acquisition/Recruitment Specialist working for Azets, you are at the forefront of the journey for many of our new starters in our South Wales and South West region. You will be working closely with Hiring Managers to understand the needs of the business and to guide and advise their hiring decisions to grow our family. You will undertake a variety our sourcing methods, promotion and stakeholder management to deliver an exceptional service through communication and sourcing. Reporting to your Recruitment Manager, you will be a senior member of the team and play a part in the mentorship of like-minded Recruiters while delivering solutions yourself.
Role Responsibilities
You will be primarily responsible for sourcing high calibre candidates across a variety of the business’ more senior/managerial roles using a mixture of job boards, headhunting, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals and your own personal network.
Once sourced, you will be expected to pre-screen the candidate via a phone or video call, to understand their requirements and promote Azets, building rapport and understanding of their job search.
To work closely with Hiring Managers providing guidance and solutions on more tricky aspects of recruitment, but also understanding the impact on their department or office and help provide solutions and guidance on anything they might need within the recruitment process including initial role briefings, discussing candidates, arranging interviews, or even assisting with the raising of a new vacancy in our ATS.
In order to work in a proactive manor, you will be working closely with OMP’s, RMP’s and Heads of Departments to establish future pipeline of hires.
The business has a Preferred Supplier List and you will be expected to manage the day to day interaction with agencies including the release of roles, arranging Hiring Manager briefings, review and response to any agency applications and management of day-to-day queries.
You will be responsible for posting and maintaining advertising via both our internal intranet and external careers page, via external job boards and professional institutes. This will also extend to social media promotion through the sharing of jobs, posting articles and video content on LinkedIn to promote not only the vacancies but our working culture.
You will manage all interview arrangements, liaising with both candidates and Hiring Managers, providing briefings before, and gathering feedback after to ensure a smooth interview process is achieved for each any every candidate.
Once a suitable candidate is received, you will manage the offer process, acting as a guide to the Hiring Manager on the details of the offer. You will be expected the deliver the offer details verbally, manage any anomalies and take ownership of the process before liaising with the Onboarding team to deliver the offer paperwork.
Your role is not only that to fill active vacancies but to act as a subject matter expect for the business. With the guidance of your Recruitment Manager, you are likely to undertake proactive sourcing and projects to explore new service lines, help benchmark salaries, explore new ways of working and constantly evolve recruitment within Azets.
You will be responsible for collaborating with the wider support networks, including L&D, HR and finance to ensure we are delivering the best possible service to the hiring community.
Champion the TalentLink system and lead by example with compliance, administration and utilisation of the ATS.
As a Senior TA Specialist, you will also be supporting the TA Manager with all aspects of the team, through the induction of new staff and the day to day development but also advice and support to the wider business in the absence of the TA Manager.
