We have a really unique opportunity to join our growing Yorkshire based team to work as a Technical Accounting Manager, focusing on the complex aspects of accounting such as IFRS conversions, implementation of new standards, flotation support work and valuations of share based payments and intangible assets. As part of your role as an Technical Accounting Manager you will be working to review more complex annual statutory accounts for clients whilst offering advice on best practice and recommendations for director or partner review.
No two days or projects are the same Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to; review of more complex UK GAAP and IFRS GAAP accounts and consolidations, leading IFRS conversions on behalf of clients, drafting responses to technical accounting queries from clients, reviewing valuations work and acquisition accounting. This is an opportunity to genuinely stand out from the norm. As well as providing support to your clients from an accounting perspective, you will also be managing and developing more junior team members to guide their journey.
You will ideally be at least a two year post ACCA/ ACA qualified accountant, with a breadth of knowledge on complex accounting queries. You will have a strong attention to detail and be comfortable rectifying queries as soon as they are brought to your attention. You will be happy to be very hands on. You will be responsible, alongside the senior team for mentorship of the wider team, providing them with soft skills and technical knowledge development. You will take the lead on client relationships and be responsible for excellent client service. You will also look to actively link with other service lines to deliver client projects.
