Ross is a Director of Tax based in our Orpington office. After training with Grant Thornton, Ross has spent over 25 years providing advice and helping stakeholders of owner managed businesses achieve their commercial aspirations.
Ross has a keen passion for technology and innovation. He has spent the last 10 years helping founders of innovative start-ups with their journey of growth from concept into fully fledged enterprises. Ross’ specialisms include R&D tax credits, tax efficient fund raising under the SEIS and EIS and EMI share option schemes. He is able to draw on his considerable experience to help founders through their journey from start-up to ultimate realisation or whatever that next step may be.
Ross seeks to provide general practical advice and assistance to corporate clients and their stakeholders to ensure maximum tax efficiency whilst being mindful of the wider commercial considerations.
Ross regularly presents on technical matters and this has included R&D and tax efficient fund raising as a representative of the Department of International Trade and talks at Google Campus London. He is also a member of the Charted Institute of Taxation.
