Richard joined the firm in November 2014, he has a First Class Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance and qualified as a Certified Chartered Accountant in 2006. He was promoted to Partner in October 2021.
Richard leads our team on a range of external audits. Clients include charities, academy schools, owner managed companies and large UK groups. Richard is also responsible for a portfolio of non-audit clients and works closely with these ensuring tax efficiencies and planning opportunities are optimised and to answer particular client queries. In his former life Richard worked as a dairy farmer and has a keen interest working with our agricultural clients today.
Richard spends most of his spare time outdoors either cycling or scaling a mountain in the Lake District or Northern Wales. Richard has also completed the trek to Everest Base Camp and cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats
