His core background is in accounting and audit, working mainly with owner-managed businesses offering both compliance solutions and wider business planning support.
Having moved to a national top-20 firm as an audit manager, Richard relocated with the firm to the Portsmouth region and joined the business in 2004, going-on to become a partner later in that year. Originally a general practice partner with a corporate client bias, he believes his experience in auditing and accounting complement the tax services offered in the region, combining to allow the firm to give clients of all sizes a complete service. He enjoys working with colleagues and clients to find solutions to their technical issues, and also deal with wider issues beyond just the accounts.
