Phil joined the group as a Partner in March 2019 and leads our Arts and Media sector.
Phil has over 35 years’ accounting experience and as well as a focus on Arts and Media, Phil also has extensive experience dealing with Not for Profit clients including Trade Unions where he has spent over 10 years working with major sector organisations.
Within the Arts and Media sector, Phil has in-depth knowledge of Artists and Commercial art galleries, Artists, Musicians and Arts charities. He has developed a strong reputation for helping clients to navigate accounting and tax issues and plan around business structuring. Through his extensive industry network he can connect clients and contacts and keep at the forefront of industry issues.
Phil is a member of PAIAM (Professional Advisors to the International Art Market), ICAEW Audit faculty and ICAEW – Entertainment, Sport & Media Group.
In his spare time, Phil enjoys art, reading and wine. He has a modest art collection and enjoys reading - from medieval history to modern fiction. Phil is also a regular in the gym and enjoys travel.
