I joined the Portsmouth office in 2008 as an Accounts Trainee before moving into the audit team shortly after, where I’ve worked my way up from Trainee to Director.
The office has been through a few transitions over the years before becoming part of the Azets Group in 2018.
I primarily provide audit and assurance services to a wide variety of owner managed SME clients, both in terms of size and sector, in the UK and as part of international groups. I also provide financial reporting services to listed businesses.
I work with a diverse range of clients, including construction, manufacturing, technology and retail, as well as solicitors and the charity and not for profit sectors.
I qualified as an Accounting Technician (AAT) in 2010 and as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2012. I’m a member of the ICAEW’s Audit and Assurance faculty, the Solicitors and Charity Finance Professional communities and am also an ICAEW Student Counsellor for the ACA trainees in the Portsmouth office.
Away from work I’m father to two young boys who keep me very busy and I enjoy following Formula 1. In 2019 I was appointed as a co-opted Governor at my eldest son’s Primary School and have found this to be a very rewarding way to give something back to the local community. I’m also a keen runner and find this a great opportunity to unplug from life for a while.
