James leads our Global Mobility team and has 25 years’ experience in expatriate and employment taxes, having worked within the 'Big Four' firms before joining Azets as a Director in January 2022. James has worked with organisations of all sizes across many different business sectors, having spent time working in the Midlands, Manchester and London.
James specialises in all aspects of employee global mobility including tax residency and domicile issues, the application of double taxation treaties and cross-border social security compliance. James also has a deep knowledge of the risks associated with cross-border moves from an employer perspective, and the policies and procedures required to plan and effectively implement international assignments, overseas business trips and international remote working arrangements.
Outside of work, James is a keen runner, cyclist, and Leicester City supporter.
