David is a qualified fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. David is a Director within our Audit and Business Services department and based at our Cardiff office. David has a wealth of experience in working in both practice and Industry since qualifying.
His experience includes;
- Compliance requirements of SME’s including statutory account, VAT and management accounts;
- Advising on business strategy, financial and commercial affairs with financial forecasts;
- Management and completion of audits for a portfolio of SME’s, professional practices including law firms and larger organisations across a range of sectors including technology, construction and manufacturing;
- Advising on the implementation of internal accounting systems and controls;
- Benchmarking performance of organisations across sectors and industries and against budget, and providing recommendations on identified weaknesses;
- Preparing Accountant’s reports to support claims for Government grants.
