After training with Scott-Moncrieff and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2001, Alison has progressed through the firm to Partner.
As head of the commercial and charity audit team in Glasgow, she specialises in advising not just charities but also owner managed businesses across a wide variety of sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, property and construction. I also lead the firm's manufacturing and distribution sector group. Some examples of the clients Alison works with include Stewart Buchanan Gauges, Charles Henshaw & Sons Ltd, Henry Technologies, Mackenzie Construction, Clyde Gateway URC, St Andrews First Aid and The Robertson Trust.
